veil.la
A tiny, privacy-first, one-time-payment, free-as-in-freedom email service provider.
Privacy first
This server is fully encrypted, keeps no logs, and has no automatic backups. We strongly recommend using a VPN and practicing basic operational security.
Email E2EE is a myth
Incoming emails must be unencrypted for processing; veil.la is transparent about this reality. We rely on full disk encryption to protect data at rest.
Rules and free speech
Zero tolerance for spam, malware, or CSAM. Violations result in immediate termination.
However, no account will ever be terminated for controversial speech.
Data is only disclosed if compelled by a court order with valid jurisdiction over the physical server. Currently hosted in France 🇫🇷.
